This is a blog dedicated to parents and teachers who want to ask questions about my research area – young people’s net cultures. It’s in Swedish and there is no English version. The name Net Nanny is an ironic wink to all kinds of technical solutions to non- technical problems, such as filter software Net Nanny. In fact, I support Howard Rheingold’s idea of sacking the Net Nanny and talking to the kids. And while we are on the subject: I have had dinner with Howard Rheingold when he was in Umeå, and I’m extremely proud of that.
If you want to ask me something in English, please use the contact form below. I will post the reply in the blog, without any information that might reveal who you are. If you leave your e-mail address, I will also reply directly to you.
